Committee positions:
With transfer of planning powers and much policy change at governmental, this is considered a critical time for our profession in Northern Ireland. LINI is also in the process of preparing several major events, relating both to the transfer of planning powers, and also to the celebration of 50 years of our profession in Northern Ireland and Ireland.
We ask that members give serious consideration to becoming involved with the LINI branch committee at whatever level, helping to provide services to members, contributing to CPD and promoting the profession in Northern Ireland.  This is one of the most important ways in which you can be involved in and contribute to the development of your profession. We invite you the members to consider joining the incoming committee for the 2014/15 year.
All positions on the branch committee are up for re-election on an annual basis.
For your information we attach a nomination form and descriptions of the key tasks/responsibilities for the various committee posts.
If you are interested in joining the committee in its activities and would like more information please contact Peter Hutchinson or Emily Smyth (LINI joint Chairs) or Darren McKinstry (LINI Hon Secretary) at <design@peterhutchinson.org> <esm.smyth@ulster.ac.uk> or <darrenm@paulhogarth.com>
Agenda:
The AGM is an opportunity for discussion amongst the members of the Landscape Institute in Northern Ireland.  Please let us know what topics you consider could or should be debated.
Please send any proposed Agenda items to mail.northernireland@landscapeinstitute.org .
